GOOD MORNING WORLD

Lena's Kookaburra is saying "Good Morning World, and a happy day to everyone".

ANOTHER IDEA

Knit a few inches as you would for Ballerina, then Knit about 20" stocking stitch, and then the remainder of the yarn knit as you would Ballerina. These colours are bright and beautiful.

KITTY KAT SITS ON THE PRAM COVER

A pram cover created on the Small Butterfly Loom with knitted squares in between each Loomed square, and finished with crochet around the edge.

ANOTHER DAY - ANOTHER SCARF

Seini crochet along the edge of the Ballerina Yarn, and attached it to a ring covered in yarn and then wind the Scarf around your neck and thread it through the ring - Who would have thought?

PRETTY PINK FLOWER AND CHAIN SCARF

There is a crochet ring behind the flower and the crochet chains are threaded through the ring. Very pretty, very easy.

CHRISTMAS GIFT INSPIRATION

Let's have fun together and create beautiful gifts using the Butterfly Loom.  This scarf was made using the Rectangle Loom, and making 3pieces.  All the beading is done while each piece is on the loom and beads added as you are knotting.  The Tassels were added after the 3 pieces were slip stitched together.

I THINK I AM A SQUIRREL

This is my new favourite
Throw.  I call it my "Squirrel
Throw" - for any reason.
There are tufts of Wool 30cms -
15" apart, and when you wrap
this wool on the Loom it
has an amazing effect.  I've used the
Medium Loom, and then crochet
with a soft Sage.  I've made 9 of
these motifs.  Nearly finished the
Throw, so I'll put up the pictures
as soon as I have.

HELP

I just sat and stared at  the screen in disbeliefI clicked onto "Butterfly Patterns & Pictures" and the whole file is gone, just gone.  I looked and looked again, and wanted to run away.  I had done nothing to my Computer except an update had helped itself the night before.  I had a bright idea I could fix it, so very cleverly found the file and tried to fix it, and now, guess what - I've got pictures everywhere!!  The Computer man is coming next week and I know he can fix it.  In the meantime I just keep looking at this space, hoping and praying a miracle will happen and it will all be back just like it was!  How can "stuff" just disappear when I didn't even touch anything.  If anyone says "things like this make you stronger" that's rubbish too!  It took me nearly a day to find these 2 photos, how can that make me stronger?   I have lots more to show you, but that will be soon, when the Magician comes and flicks his fingers and my file re-appears!

POMPOMS FOR SEINI

Seini in Pompom Land
Once Seini started she just couldn't stop - and
now wants to put Pompoms
into everything.  Create Pompoms on any size Loom.
Should we have a Pompom COMPETITION?
Any suggestion how
we could do that?

HAPPY CHRISTMAS

If you decide to crochet or knit
a large square and you want it to
fit into a border of Loomed squares, create the square in the centre, and then create the border from loomed squares, and continue creating the centre square until it is the size of the outside border.

I have now joined the border and
the crochet centre together, and crochet
a border around both.  Now I think I
will crochet a single crochet in each
color on the very edge.
Still thinking.....

SEINI SHINES

Seini shines .....
This throw is unbelievable. It measures approximately
3 metres x 3 metres and would fit a King size bed.
The colours are like a rainbow, and it is thick and snuggly.
Seini would like to sell her rug, and if you are interested you can email
info@thebutterflyloom.com for further details.

THIS GOES WITH THAT IN SHARON'S BLANKET

Sharon this Blanket is beautiful.
It's hard to see how lovely it is, and with all the little fuzzy bits, and the 3 chain joining the squares together has made a beautiful cuddly blanket.  See what you can do
with "leftovers".  Should we call it
"Bubble & Squeak"?

ULTIMATE WOOL WINDER - FREE

Jo bought a skein of yarn and was
very excited to start wrapping her
Butterfly Loom.  We gasped in horror and said she had to wind it into a ball first, or she would create havoc!
Well, she created havoc, and hence
the FREE Ulitmate Wool Winders came to the rescue.
Much fun was had by all...

I AM A RAINBOW

Thankyou to everyone who has helped to create Rugs for
some of the flood victims in Grantham.  We know a lot are
still doing it very tough, living in Tents, Caravans and Sheds.  We also
know that a few of the nights have been the coldest June nights on
record.  So here's another little ray of sunshine we're sending you
with our love.  Marcia I've called this a "Rainbow for Grantham" - thanks.

INSPIRATION

Dear Seini,
You have been coming to our
Group for a few weeks, on and off,
you can hardly speak English, but you just sit and watch what we are doing, and if we ask you something you just smile.
I had seen you with balls of yarn
in your basket once, and yesterday
you were sitting next to me and I
looked down and saw something
peeking out of your bag, and asked
you if you had made a Throw.  It was
so neatly rolled, and you nodded "yes"
and when you took it out, we nearly
fainted.  We had no idea you had been working on this. You even crochet the squares together with 3 chain to each like we are.  Just amazing, and we are so proud of you.  Seini - you did all this by just watching.  Amazing!  The colours on
here don't show the true colour, but they are a mixture of different textures in bright purples and lime green, and then crochet together with turquoise and a colourful Flurry.
I wish I could have captured the look on everyone's face as your Throw unfolded.  Thankyou Seini for the inspiration and creativity you have given us.
